Canterbury style UK fragile folk with psych leanings. UK album recorded by a group of
students at the Ingestre Hall Residential Arts Centre. The name of the band was
actually a joke based on newspaper advertisements for musicians to join bands, which
would sometimes end with "No time wasters"! So Greg Holt, the band's founder, called
them "Time Wasters Only" and the generic name for any of the musicians in the group
became "Time Wasters". Musically ranging from fragile and melodic folk with Bluesy
moments and even soul-jazz vibes, encompased in a psych-folk-rock with Canterbury
signature. A lost album in the brink of a new era, echoing sounds of British prog. and
psych-folk. Fully licensed reissue limited to 500 copies only.

GP 1020 RAVEN WHO DO YOU SEE LP 10.2013
Originally from Terre Haute Indiana, members of Raven played and toured with bands such
as Reo Speedwagon, Cheap Trick, Dan Fogelberg etc.. George Phelps who had joined The
"Carnations" met up with "Goliath" members in a studio and through a myriad of
circumstances, teaming up with drummer Robert Wolff (ex "Micah") these musicians merged
into "Raven" in Louisville KY in late 1972. From this moment on, the band toured
extensively through 24 states non-stop for the next 4 years before recording this
material in 1976, unreleased until today. The material was recorded in Atlanta Georgia
at a studio called "The Sound Pit" Memories of going into the studio at night and
working until the sun came up and feeling like I was floating on a cloud because it
sounded so good (Doug - Raven's lead singer). Soon after the recording was completed,
Raven got a record deal with Capricorn records. 2 weeks later, they went bankrupt. The
tapes were subsequently destroyed in a fire. With Disco sound moving in in the mid
seventies and with the bankrupcy of Capicorn records, Raven was literally like fish out
of water, and slowly but steadily what had felt like the beginning of something unique,
was lost. Musically the album relies on a hard driving progressive sound with a very
rhythmic approach filled with virtuoso guitar & keyboard solos as well as pulsating
bass lines in a hard-rock backing. Think Primus meets Emerson, Lake & Palmer with
a touch of Yes, Deep Purple, Rush and Dream Theater. ..Features Robert Wolff previously
with Micah and currently with Corvus Stone. Finally Who do you see sees the light of
day 37 years after being recorded. Strictly limited to 500 copies in high quality old

Reissue of the self-titled debut album by PENTWATER, a progressive quintet that formed
in Chicago, 1970. Originally out on their own Beef Records, this is a classic US prog
venture in the ranks of Yes, Gentle Giant, King Crimson, Yezda Urfa and Cathedral. As
far as the music goes, expect a complex rich tapestry of sounds including electric
violin, haunting flute lines, deep bass and guitar lines in the style of Steve Howe, as
well as an intriguing structure of polyphonic vocals and extreme counterpoints. The
album takes us on a journey of unsettling and rhythmic interplays to mellow acoustic
textures of dreamy space-rock with heavy mellotron and organ themes, and dual guitars.
A unique sound and memorable experience, reissued for the first time on vinyl. Strictly

GP 1023 HAND LITTLE HEARTACHES LP 07.2015
Long revered by acid-folk advocates for the beatific, melodious introversion of their
1972 album 'Everybody's Own', Hand at that point was a cadre of Swiss teenage friends,
unified by the compositions of Marc Osborne and Tony Angier. The 40th-anniversary
reissue of their album was so uniformly well received that four of the original members
reunited for a celebratory snifter in Lausanne in 2012. Despite Angier's untimely death
in 1996, Osborne was subsequently encouraged to assemble a fresh line-up of Hand, incl.
original harmonica archimage Nick Zoullas. The first fruit of this renaissence was
2014's 'The Other Side Of The World'. The fact that 'Little Heartaches' follows so
closely testifies to Osborne's renewed creative fecundity, plus an eagerness to make up
for decades of lost time.

from Ventura County, USA. This is powerful stuff under the influence of Hendrix, Moby
Grape and Steppenwolf. The LP is recommended to fans of a.o. The Contents Are and
Beauregard Ajax, and limited to 500 copies in gatefold covers. A detailed story by the
band's only surviving member Jack Caviness and rare pix are included. By the way, these
recordings were made for a planned release on Tower Records, which obviously didn't
materialize back in the day.

The very first recordings by The Bleu Forest took place after the group had played
a show at the Hey You Coffeehouse in Ventura, CA. Jimmie Haskell invited the psych
/acid-rockers to come to Hollywood and record on the spot at his place. His intention
was to capture how the band sounded live, and that is exactly what 'Ichiban' does,
thanks to the band members in fine form, two mics, a recording machine, and lots of
spontaneity and raw energy with no retakes. It's a time-capsule direct from Jimmie's
place in August, 1967.

NYLs 1976 sole release is curiously still very much under the radar despite it being
one of the most intriguing French psychedelic/prog albums from the '70s. The music is
highly creative and energetic with a definite space-rock feel in the style of Hawkwind,
but also a clear krautrock edge reminiscent of Amon Dl II and Agitation Free. Michel
Peteau's guitar is the driving force around which all other elements create a whirlwind
of sonic psychedelic infusion veering between loud psychedelia and irreverent pulsating
rock groove a la Gong. Features Ariel Kalma (flute and sax), as well as Janick Top
(from Magma) and Bernard Lavialle (from Ame Son).

Sole release by this Colombian band that surfaced briefly after The Speakers, Young
Beats, Ampex and Time Machine-era came to an end. The band boasted Italian jazz-rock
drummer Roberto Fiorilli and legendary Genesis bassist Humberto Monroy. The record
consists of one theme divided into two long experimental progressive ventures
('Viaje I' and 'Viaje II') of fierce, fluid and free collective improvisation with
spacey feelings and rich textures of Hammond organ, guitar, bass, tenor sax, percussion
and drums that takes the listener on a trippy psychedelic krautrock-sounding "out
there" voyage.

Founded in Wendelstein near Nuremberg in 1970, P205'S sole LP saw a release only in
1978 on the collectable Brutkasten label. Long before the band KISS became famous in
Europe, these guys were delivering quite unique live shows with pyrotechnics, burning
torches and fog in a sinister decor with their faces painted very much like KISS did.
The music is leaning between a progressive and mystical edge close to Pink Floyd and
the harder raw and darker side of Black Sabbath and Paternoster, Fully sung in English.

'Accade A...' This killer Italian library album by Luciano 'Arawak' Simoncini was
only ever released on the elusive Orrery Records label, and is now very hard to
find. Still very much under the radar, 'Explosive' reveals itself as a swift tangled
web of beats for the discerning DJ. Tracks includes the driving cosmic funk 'Hardware'
with sharp hip-hop breaks and spaced-out abstract synth keys. 'Kangoroo Court' is an
even better alternative version dubbed with underwater and weird'ish train effects.
More electric piano madness on the insane 'Oil Spot'. Also includes the two superb
Fender Rhodes and environmental FX tracks 'Shotgun' (First compiled on 'Vroommm
- Funk Cinematique' and sampled by Tomppabeats) and the intriguing track 'Warhorse'.
